Writing Your Own
- ✓Keep each line short. The names are the star, and a long opening line delays them.
- ✓End the opening line by naming the team, so it leads straight into the first player.
- ✓Exclamation marks make the announcer bring the energy.
- ✓Save the big crowd line for the closing, after the last name.

What is a starting lineup announcement?
The pre-game moment when an announcer welcomes the crowd, introduces each player by number and name, and fires everyone up, usually over music. These scripts give you the opening and closing lines; the player names go in between.
